New Landscapes

Just recently, I completed a large commission project for good friends of ours.  Since then, I've been focusing on landscapes featuring scenes from various locations in Bosque County.  These are four of my most recent.

This is one of my latest paintings.  I just love the serenity of this painting and the reflections off of the water.

Whistle Pik Christmas Miniature Show

In December, I participated in Whistle Pik Gallery's Christmas Miniature Show.  It was a great show and I was pleased to have three pieces accepted, one of which sold - Secluded Oasis.  Whistle Pik has made the decision that this would be their last year to host this Christmas miniature show and I will surely miss being a participant with this great gallery and the staff who make it all happen.  My thanks to Tim Taylor for including me these past several years.

Goin' Fishin (Working Title)

This painting is of a group of guys from our Sunday School class heading out to fish on Richland Chambers Lake in Corsicana, TX.  A friend of mine owns a guide service - "Gone Fishin' Guide Service".  Boy, did we catch the fish, and that's not a 'fish story'.
